So...I've decided that blogging is great fun! Maybe that's because I'm on summer vacation and have a great deal of free time OR maybe it's the fact that this seems so much easier than writing in a journal everyday OR I like to look back at the week and document all the events. Regardless of the reason, I'm hooked! So, I hope you don't mind that you'll find posts about the random happenings in our lives, in addition to the exciting adventure of building our first house!
July 11 was such a great day! Skyler turned the big 2--7! Here he is shaking his gift from me, trying to see if he can guess what's inside. It was fun to think back on all the things that Skyler accomplished during his 26th year of life. He graduated law school, earned a fabulous job in D.C., passed the Bar Exam on his first try, moved to the East coast, has worked so hard at his job, and has continued to make his wife feel like the most loved woman on earth. I think that's quite a fabulous list, and I'm very proud of Skyler for all of those accomplishments!
Year number 27 will be full of many more adventures, and we can't wait to see what it brings!
