FRAME OF MIND! (Level 2)

We'd like to give a shout out to the amazing crew that has been doing such an incredible job on our house! Holy cow! We have a wonderful friend from Wisconsin, Emily, who just moved to Virginia. We're so glad that she's here, and we took part of the day to show her the must-sees of VA and she willingly agreed to make the detour out to Woodbridge with us today. This was a welcome sight to see. Our neighbor, Chuck, told us that the crew had been working again all morning and had just left about 30 minutes before we got there. That was great news for us since we really wanted to walk around the inside of the house. Incredible!
This is a view of the lovely staircase that greets you when you walk in the front door.

In this picture I'm standing in the dining room looking into the kitchen and beyond that the family room.

This is standing in the formal living room looking back to the dining room.

Here you can see the 4th bedroom. This is the view from the top of the staircase. For now bedroom 4 is happily labeled our exercise room.

This is the master bedroom. On the left side (not pictured) will be the master bath and fabulous walk in closet. The master bath includes a lovely 'water closet'. Honestly, who comes up with these names?

View of the exercise room again from the opposite side. Bedroom 3 is just off to the left.

Bedroom 3 (our guest room) is seen straight ahead. You can just see the cut out of the window. If you come stay with us you'll have a lovely view of the trees in the backyard!

Looking down on the pretty staircase.

This gives a pretty good sense of the entire upstairs. Just to the left of the open area is bedroom 4. The guest room is directly behind it. I'm standing in the master bedroom and to the left of me is bedroom 2, which will eventually be a baby room. In between bedroom 2 and the guest room is another bathroom.

This is back on the first floor looking down into the basement. We did find the staircase that will eventually lead downstairs- it's sitting outside in the front yard. Hopefully they won't forget that!

Here's the basement that will remain unfinished for awhile. We're thinking this will be plenty of storage for our needs!

View from the backyard.

Side view of the house.

And last but not least...our front door laying helplessly in the mud. Poor thing. I'll be back often to make sure that door is sparkling clean and has its place of honor at the front of the house. :)
