Ella's First Week!

The fun hasn't stopped in the Bradbury house since we got home with Ella. We spent just one night in the hospital, deciding that a second night would be much more comfortable in our own home. Though the nights have been VERY long, and sleep would definitely be welcome, we are enjoying getting to know our daughter. It's incredible to see how much she grows everyday and how much more in love with her we fall.

Here are some of the highlights of Ella's first week.
The proud Momma with her precious little girl.

Ella served as a wonderful table as Mom enjoyed dessert!

Ella is in love with her Daddy. She is so content anytime Skyler holds her.

Ella's all wrapped up after her first sponge bath. She wasn't so much a fan of the bath, but she sure liked being bundled up and cuddled by Daddy.

Hanging out with Great-Aunt Lisa. Ella got to meet her first family members when Skyler's Uncle Mike, Aunt Lisa, and cousins came down for a visit.

Chillin' on the floor, and just looking adorable.

Skyler's been helping Ella with her daily stretches. Today she was finally ready to start dancing with her Daddy.

Introducing Isabella Rose Bradbury (Ella)

We are absolutely thrilled to announce the arrival of our daughter, Isabella Rose Bradbury. Ella joined our family on Tuesday, February 15, just hours after her Valentine's Day due date. She entered the world at 11:35 a.m. weighing in at 7 pounds, 1 ounce and 21 inches long. That was almost identical to what her proud Momma was measured at.

Ella's name is very special to our family. We wanted her to know how important family is. I was named after my great-great Grandma, and we thougth it would be appropriate for her to be named after a great-great Grandma from both sides of the family. She's named Isabella for Skyler's great-Grandma, Edna Bell. She is named Rose for my great-Grandma, Rose Paape.

Without further ado, here are some pictures of our precious little girl!
