Since Skyler and I live so far away from both of our families, we thought it would be a great idea to set up a blog where everyone could see the construction of our home right along with us. We are so excited for this new adventure and CAN'T WAIT to finally have a home of our own.
After much deliberation, we decided that building a new home was the best option for us. We became even more excited when the process finally started rolling! After mountains of paper work, the writing of numerous checks, and many, MANY meetings with the builder we are finally ready to go!
Woodbridge, Virginia is about 20 miles South of Alexandria (where we currently live). We were told that we'd want to stop by our home many times during the week to take pictures and see the progress, so that's exactly what we plan to do.
