IT'S THE END OF THE WORK AS WE KNOW IT!

And [we] feel fine! I'm sure everyone has now noticed that I like to use song titles for the title of many of the posts. This particular title was Skyler's idea and it sums everything up perfectly! Aside from some touchup work that needs to be done inside, the work is done!! We have our final walkthrough this Friday, closing the following Tuesday, and then moving day the 25th. We'll be taking several days off work, but it will be well worth it!

We have a lawn!! And trees!! We were so excited to see an actual yard. There were even two people at the house today watering the sod and trees. This gives us a much clearer idea of how much yard work we'll be responsible for. We can't wait!

These are the pretty shrubs surrounding the front walkway.

Since the lawn had just been watered, we decided to take a picture of the backyard from inside the house. The area behind the black, anti-erosion fencing will soon become the common area. There will be a path put in so you can walk through the trees.

We were even greeted by the most darling little fox I have ever seen! I know it's hard to see, but he's behind the second set of black fencing. He's the tiny brown spec on the right side of the picture. Yay for nature!!!

Here are some close-ups of the shrubs and trees. Clearly I didn't pay enough attention in my science classes because I'm not sure what all of these lovely things are. If you happen to know what they are, let me know! For now I will call this pretty shrub #1.
