THE END IS NEAR!

In just 2- 1/2 short weeks we will be moving into the house!! We still marvel at how quickly this entire process has gone. We're just anxious to move in and make this house our home! Since I'm now back at school, we've spent all of our nights making lists of things we still need, price checking at different stores, and trying to make sure we weren't forgetting anything important. Its been a crazy few weeks. We spent a portion of our Labor Day weekend measuring each and every window for blinds, but it gave us a great excuse to drive down and see what had been done throughout the week.

Buh-bye gray shutters! This is the final color for the shutters and the door. We love it!

Our driveway has been paved, and our car is just waiting to be stored in the garage. No more 4 level parking garage for us.

This is the laundry room (just off the garage) that leads into the kitchen.

All of the appliances are in (and working)!

The family room and office now have carpet. I really want to know how they did the design in the carpet. In all my years of vacuuming, I have yet to learn that cool trick. :-)

The powder room is now equipped with all the essentials.

The living room, dining room, and the entire upstairs have been fully carpeted.

This is the front entry, and you can see the newly stained railings.

The faucets and fixtures have been put in, and we already have running water.

And last but not least, we have our cute mailbox. Now we just need some sod, shrubs, and a few trees and we'll be in business!
